| How Safe is Anal Bleaching? |

If you know nothing else about the process itself, the term "anal bleaching" can conjure up thoughts of a drastic and possibly painful process. It's obvious that the two words themselves are somewhat harsh in nature, and when combined, make combination that may seem utterly abrasive and disgusting to some.
The truth is that rectal lightening, in many cases, can be dangerous and irritating to the sensitive skin in the anal region. Many salons that perform the anal bleaching process are not qualified to do so, and can make the mistake of using a cream designed for lightening other areas of the body for lightening the anal area. This can cause severe irritation, which is obviously not a pleasant experience. Some at-home solutions are just as bad or worse, with extremely harsh chemicals that will irritate the areas where the cream is applied. To top it all off, many of these harsh creams contain high concentrations of hydroquinone, which has been banned in several countries around the world because its use has been linked to cancer.
Take heart though, anal bleaching can be a safe process. Since anal bleaching is a relatively new process, many technologies and developments have emerged recently to ensure that it is safer and more reliable than ever before. First of all, there has been a shift to change the popular name of the process to "anal lightening". As they say, "slow and steady wins the race", and this holds true for the anal bleaching process. If any treatment promises instant results, then it should be avoided like the plague, because that treatment is either ineffective or too effective, to the point of irritation. Instead, rectal lightening should be a gradual process, in order to to be safe, bear the longest results, and be truly effective.
Secondly, the newest, most effective treatments do away with the chemicals altogether and use all-natural ingredients. All-natural ingredients provide the peace of mind that comes with using something that is produced by the earth, and not developed in a laboratory somewhere. Even better, they work just as effectively as the harsh chemical treatments out there. Best of all, these treatments have finally left the salons and are available for home use. Now anyone can buy anal bleaching creams to use at home; all you need to know is where to find them.
There are many ways to do this. You could ask a friend who has undergone a similar treatment (of course, that's assuming you're open with your friends about these types of topics). You can also ask your local salon that gives this type of treatment (of course, that's if you're close enough to someone there who doesn't mind divulging these types of "trade secrets", if you will). There are also numerous websites online that review these types of products, such as AnalBleaching.org, the web's leading resource on anal and genital bleaching products. Trusted websites like these work well, since you’d probably be hard pressed to find a Cosmopolitan review of anal bleaching products, much less a Consumer Reports one.
